Children are always welcome to come to the library and enjoy the age appropriate items. Of course, families are encouraged to borrow items for 2 week periods. The family

As children begin developing higher reading skills, books are shelved according to an identified Reading Level (RL). First chapter books are located on the lower shelves of the first aisle stack. A librarian will be most happy to put together an assortment of items to be taken away in a personalized BOOK BAG. Should a family/child be limited with time, an email to the library could be written and items could be requested. The email should give the child’s name, age and interests which would act as a guide to item selection. The email should also make reference to the manner of pick up. The BOOK BAG would then be prepared. Email walkerspointlibrary@gmail.com
A child may also enjoy the choices of
puzzles, science kits and quiet games.
